Hey there!
Well, I got both my pugs thru DFW Pug Rescue. I got Mia 3 years ago this month. She was rescued from a not-so-good breeder in Oklahoma and she was heartworm positive. She is older but not 100% sure of her age. Probably around 7 maybe? She is a sweet, quiet angel who sleeps most of the day. She follows me everywhere and loves to ride in the car.
I got Kiki 2 years ago this month. She will be 3 in Nov. She was an owner surrender. Belonged to a girl that worked all day and she felt bad for leaving Kiki alone all day. I can not imagine how hard of a decision it was to let her go. She was supposed to be a foster for us but I could not let her go!! She is such a little baby and loves to be in my lap all the time.
I had not heard that about the black puggies...they are so dang cute though! I'll be interested in hearing how he is doing later after he has really settled in with you. I will post more pics. I don't want people to get sick of them though!!
