I think it would depend on how high the heel is. I used to like heels without straps but the angle had to be right so my foot didn't want to slip around.

Straps make no difference to me. For me it's heel height and thickness.

I am a huge fan of slingbacks, especially ones that have a bit of stretch to the strap. I can wear any size heel if it's a slingback.

Hey thanks ladies for such a lovely replies.. i am going to try heels with stretchable straps and i hope they will not pressure my ankle :)
I'll go with strap..
strap helps holding your feet firmly,prevent it from flipping around..
