Thread: Cindy's Bag Borrow Steal / Avelle Experience

I encourage everyone to stay away from BBOS, the fact that they outright lied about shipping methods (UPS told me that BBOS did not pay for the bag to be signed for yet the BBOS website says that it comes with every Next Day Air delivery), condition of the bags, and their services is enough to just save your money and put it to better use.

I can't help but agree with you. I am glad that I found this forum. Thank you Cindy for sharing your experience.

... I feel I was lucky in my experiences, but the fact that you experienced what you did alarms me enough to stay away from them in the future for purchases. Even if your experience is rare, the fact that a company would mislead and lie to one customer is enough for me to loose faith in that company as a whole.... especially given that you were dealing with the Chief Marketing Officer directly!

Now I recommend that people stay clear of BBOS. I would hate to see repeats of your experience.

Bag Borrow or Steal has just changed their name (maybe in attempts to curb the bad image that they are starting to have). I wanted to change the title of the thread so that way when people google Bag Borrow or Steal (or now Avelle) they will hopefully find this and be warned about their shady practices.

aka they know there is bad reputation out there about "bag barrow or steal" so they changed the name to trick people.

Avelle sounds like a brand name of a birth control pill to me...there are several that end in "elle"....
