I'm really excited to learn more about this process!! Especially if you go through the process of buying a bag from them, "stealing it"!! I wonder if there is more of a price incentive to buy the bags for members, versus people that just have log-in names to have access to the "outlet" area.

ooh I didn't read it about the 'steal it' part. do you know how much it will be or do you not know until you get the bag?

on the website its very vague...like they assess the steal it price based on the condition of the bag...

i did check out their outlet area, where you buy bags that are used once or twice or not used at all, and i thought as a guest it was just naturally higher (since borrowing price was naturally higher for guests vs members) BUT the price didnt go down as a member in the outlet area. and trust me, if its only like a 50-75 dollar difference to "steal" it, i might not do it, UNLESS the bag is in presinte condition...because the outlet pricess are not THAT great....i am hoping a steal it price is better....

What Is "Steal It"?

Answer:
If you'd like to purchase the accessory you've borrowed, you can request to purchase or "Steal It". We will evaluate the accessory's age, condition and how easy it will be to replace—then let you know if the item is available for purchase and, if appropriate, a price. If you decide to make a purchase, we'll bill the credit card we have on file and the accessory is yours to keep.

Please note, all "Steal It" purchases are as is and final.
