Thread: Talk About Maggie Bags!

OK tFAFers here is a quickie review of Maggie Bags. These bags are made out of recycled seat belts, so naturally you would think they wouldn't be cute but thats so wrong because these bags are amazingly cute. I was shocked and surprised at how cute the small and medium totes are! It is so awesome because we can all be environmentally friendly and still be fashionable!!!!! Lisa, Di, and Diana will be reviewing the blue/white bag, red bag, and navy bag. I am reviewing the backpack (beige tote looking thing).

My overall impression of Maggie Bags was that the quality was outstanding. The bags have a very sturdy and hard base that is perfect for keeping the shape of the bag without weighing it down. Plus each bag has 4 silver feet that give the bags a decent amount of clearance from the ground when its placed on the floor. That is for me because I am always so worried about the bottom of the bag getting dirty. The handles are incredibly sturdy and well made, I am throughly impressed with the care and detail that went into creating a eco friendly, useful, sturdy, yet fashionable handbag!

The colors are brilliant! So vivid and pretty, it made me smile. Then I opened the bag and OMG the purple interior is just stunning (you should watch the video, I am not faking my excitement about the interior of the bag, I literally opened it for the first time while recording).



Overall I LOVE Maggie Bags! However, I am not in love with the backpack. It has a awkward and funny design. It looks too much like a tote. I finally realized that couldn't get over my preconceived notions of what a tote and backpack look like. I expected a backpack to do what a backpack used to do for me, which was hold all my school supplies, but this bag didn't. It was too small to be a backpack and it was hurt when I put it on and it was filled with stuff.



Please don't let my negative review of the backpack detour you from Maggie Bags because the totes are CUTE! Its a unique design that is sure to turn heads.
