Three Stone Rings? Ever considered a three stone ring for your wedding ring? A center stone flanked by smaller stones on its sides, just looks perfect as a wedding ring. Although i am not a very big fan of three stone rings...I am a solitaire person totally.My sister's definitely planning to get one for her wedding. Three is so much better than one,eh?

The only way I like a 3 stone ring is if the side stones are smaller and a different cut than the center. Like my dream ring is a round or asscher cut center stone with tapered baguettes on the side. I think I posted a picture of it somewhere in the jewelry folder.
A couple years ago, we "upgraded" my wedding band/engagement ring set, and we purchased a platinum three stone diamond ring (the three stones are surrounded by 6 smaller diamonds...3 diamonds on either side). I just wear this ring now and nothing else.

I don't like round cut, because they use the most of the original diamond and is therefore the cheapest cut (it is also what everyone gets). My favorites are marquise and pear shaped, although I like emerald as well. I agree with Julz that the stones on the side should be smaller, and preferably cut differently.
